Work for the Saskatoon Zoo Society this summer!

The Saskatoon Zoo Society is looking for 2 summer interpreters to work as a camp counsellors for July and August.  This job requires experience working with children.  Experience working with children in a camp setting or within a school setting (even if volunteer) is a huge asset. These positions start on Monday, July 5th and run until Thursday, September 2ndWage is $16.00/hour. These positions are made possible through Canada Summer Jobs and Young Canada Works grant funding.  A few stipulations will apply, so please read below carefully before applying:

  1. You must be registered in a post-secondary school full-time for the

2021-2022 school year.

  1. You must have been registered and attended school full-time in the

2020-2021 school year.

  1. You must be between 16 and 30 years of age.
  2. You must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Foreign students are not eligible)
  3. You must be legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.
  1. You must be available Monday to Friday. Both positions will work from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.    All weekends and statutory holidays are yours to enjoy!
  1. As these positions are grant funded, we do not allow for holiday time off during the work contract (July 5th-Sept. 2nd). Holiday pay will be paid out during the work term.
  1. You must be able to present a current (within 3 months) police security check with the vulnerable sector search in the event you get an interview.
