DESCRIPTION:Young Naturalists’ Peregrine Falcon Field Trip \nTHIS FIELD TRIP HAS BEEN CANCELLED\n(Due to poor Peregrine hatch this year). \nDate:  CANCELLED for Tuesday\, August 1\nTime: 6:00 p.m.\nCost: Free\nSPACE IS LIMITED.  Advanced Registration is required.   \nA field trip to Lynn Oliphant’s acreage to watch young falcons fly and hunt.\nDr. Oliphant is a retired veterinarian who played a major role in ensuring Peregrine Falcons did not go extinct.\nToday\, he and Rhonda live on an ecologically-sustainable farm and they still raise falcons.  We’ll learn about the Peregrine Falcon and pick up a little knowledge on ecologically-sustainable living at the same time! \nSpace is limited.  Advanced registration is required.\nE-mail saskatoonnaturekids@gmail.com to register or for more information. \nCost is free.  Some travel is involved (40 km round trip)\nAt least one adult must accompany your child/children on this field trip.
