Join the Friends of the Forestry Farm House on a walking tour this summer!  On the tour you will get acquainted with some of the trees and shrubs that were distributed from the Sutherland Forest Nursery Station for use in shelterbelts in the northern prairies.  We’ll stop and admire the gardens, and get some information about the use of the heritage buildings on site.  The Superintendent’s Residence will be open for visits from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., with the walking tour starting at 2:00 p.m.  Volunteers will tell you about the history of the house and park, and will serve you cookies and lemonade in return for a small donation to the Friends of the Forestry Farm House.
