Koda and Mistaya are 10 years old! Come help us celebrate their birthday with a very “unique” picnic for the bears!
Program will start at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28th.
Interpreters will be out and about until 3:00 p.m., but program ends whenever you wish to go!
- Join us for an interpretive program with the Zookeepers (and the bears of course)
- Face-painting
- Discover all about bears with our bear artefacts
- Guess how many “bears” are in our jar (win the jar to take home)
- Enjoy a “cub”cake treat (first-come, first-served until they have disappeared)
- Purchase a Brown Bear Adopt-a-Critter package ($40) and you will receive a plush bear and the Saskatoon Zoo Society will donate $10 of every Adopt purchased this day to help raise funds for a skid-steer to help the zookeepers fill up all those big holes Koda and Mistaya dig each day! Donations of any amount would also be appreciated!
- Bring along your own “teddy bear” friend as we celebrate Koda and Mistaya’s 10th birthday!
- 25% off all bear merchandise in the Paws Inn Gift Shop on August 28th, 2015.
- 50 cents off a Sour Patch Kids popsicle at Buckeye Cafe during the event on August 28th, 2015.
