An early winter walk along the snow covered nature trail. Who knows what we’ll see? We will look for tracks and other signs of animals; we’ll check out the winter berries and discuss which ones are edible and which ones aren’t (and sample a few frozen cranberries); and we’ll definitely talk about the benefits of bird feeders to Citizen Science programs. Plus the chickadees at Pike Lake are very accommodating for young bird watchers. At least one parent/guardian must accompany your child/children on all Young Naturalists activities. Due to COVID-19 safeguards this field trip is limited to 5 kids (with a maximum of 9 people) per session.  Sessions are offered at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 p.m.  Advanced registration is required. To register e-mail naturekids@saskatoonnature.org or saskatoonnaturekids@gmail.com
