Why do the hours for the Zoo on Google come up different?2016-03-29T11:09:04-06:00

We have let Google know that they have been posting incorrect hours on the side bar several times. They do have the correct times now, however if you see hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. those are the OFFICE HOURS of the Saskatoon Zoo Society. The Saskatoon Zoo Society is a non-profit charity that produces this website and runs the environmental education programs and most events at the Zoo. Google does have the hours correct, but if you don’t know the difference between the Saskatoon Zoo Society and the Saskatoon Forestry Farm, it is easy to make a mistake.  SO, how do YOU know? Don’t rely on the Google sidebars!  Go directly to the business websites for accurate information.  Hope that helps you out!

How can I support the Saskatoon Zoo Society and their environmental education programming?2017-11-02T11:28:15-06:00

There are multiple ways. Online, the easiest way is to donate through CanadaHelps.org. Don’t fear though! There are plenty of other ways to donate to a worthwhile cause. Consider purchasing a membership to the Zoo Society, symbolically adopting an animal through our Adopt-a-Critter program, or donate your time by volunteering.

What is the difference between the Saskatoon Zoo Society, The Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo, The Saskatoon Zoo Foundation and The Friends of the Forestry Farm House?2017-04-19T17:43:47-06:00

While we can’t answer for the other organizations at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo, the Saskatoon Zoo Society is a non-profit environmental education organization that exists to provide educational opportunities based around the wildlife at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo.
