We have let Google know that they have been posting incorrect hours on the side bar several times. They do have the correct times now, however if you see hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. those are the OFFICE HOURS of the Saskatoon Zoo Society. The Saskatoon Zoo Society is a non-profit charity that produces this website and runs the environmental education programs and most events at the Zoo. Google does have the hours correct, but if you don’t know the difference between the Saskatoon Zoo Society and the Saskatoon Forestry Farm, it is easy to make a mistake. SO, how do YOU know? Don’t rely on the Google sidebars! Go directly to the business websites for accurate information. Hope that helps you out!
So glad you asked! You can send us a quick email here and we’ll respond to you about our availability. Please check out our program page for information on all the environmental education programs we offer. You may also contact us at 306-975-3395.
Pets are NOT allowed in either the park or the zoo unless they are certified guide dogs.
You are on the Saskatoon Zoo Society’s web page. If you want to make a comment on the site (zoo or park), please contact the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo directly at zoo@saskatoon.ca
The Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo’s information on rental facilities is posted on our site under the “visitor information” tab (click here to be directed there now). Scroll down and look for the “rentals” information.
The Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo (owned and operated by the City of Saskatoon) rents wagons at the admission window. There are two wheelchairs available upon request – first come, first served.
While the Saskatoon Zoo Society is responsible for the environmental education programs at the zoo, you can find that information on our Visitor Information page.
There are multiple ways. Online, the easiest way is to donate through CanadaHelps.org. Don’t fear though! There are plenty of other ways to donate to a worthwhile cause. Consider purchasing a membership to the Zoo Society, symbolically adopting an animal through our Adopt-a-Critter program, or donate your time by volunteering.
While we can’t answer for the other organizations at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo, the Saskatoon Zoo Society is a non-profit environmental education organization that exists to provide educational opportunities based around the wildlife at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo.
