Caribou (Rangifer tarandus)

Yes, Caribou are Reindeer.  The Saskatoon Forestry Farm Zoo's own Woodland Caribou are all Rangifer tarandus.  Reindeer and Woodland Caribou are each one of several subspecies recognized by scientists.
